Hydraredox Iberia is a Top 15 Finalist in Eit Innoenergy’s Electrical Storage Global Call

HYDRAREDOX IBERIA WAS SELECTED TO PRESENT TO A PANEL OF JUDGES IN AMSTERDAM

Amsterdam, 22 March 2019

In late 2018, InnoEnergy launched its first Electrical Energy Storage Global Call.

This call was aimed at start-ups based on innovative technology or business models in the electrical storage area, including electric batteries and/or supercapacitors, and their ancillary devices, whether based on hardware or software.

The ideas presented had to offer competitive advantages in, for example: power density, weight, form factor, environmental impact, production cost, charging, supply, operation and maintenance, health and safety, or recycling. In addition, the idea should have applications in the following areas: e-Mobility and transportation
Out of 220 applications from start-ups across the world, HydraRedox was amongst the top 15 finalists and was the only company to present vanadium redox technology in Amsterdam to a panel of judges composed of experts from multiple disciplines.
On 21 March 2019 the final, held at Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam, saw the last 10 finalists go head-to-head for the most innovative electrical storage technology or business model. The final joint winners were Battrion and instagrid.
